Traveler's notebook (Black)
This consists of a simple cow leather cover made in Chiang Mai, Thailand and a refined notebook with Designphil’s original paper used that is made in Japan.
You can start using the notebook as is, but by adding a zipper case or a pen holder, you can increase its storage capacity. If you add a connecting band, then you can even increase the number of notebook refills that go inside the notebook.
The structure of the notebook is simple, so it’s easy to add charms and beads on to the rubber band. We also recommend adding used post stamps on the cover of the notebook.
This is a notebook where you can customize it freely, and the longer you use it, the more the taste and texture of the leather deepens, making carrying it around fun.

TRAVELER’S notebook consists of a cut cow leather tanned using vegetable tannin and a tin-made part attached on a rubber band. It is hard to process a leather tanned by vegetable tannin for it shows the wrinkles and scratch marks easily. However, it is environment friendly, and has an authentic attractiveness where it beautifully changes over time. The leather used for the TRAVELER’S notebook has oil seeped inside, and by doing so, it makes the finish soft. We wanted to make full use of the natural feeling, so we did not process it excessively. So please be noted that there might be some small scratches and wrinkles on the cover. The longer you use it, the more the color deepens. And by this deepening, the scratches would be hard to spot.
The color dye of the leather is done naturally, so there is a risk of the color transferring to an adjacent object when it becomes wet or gets rubbed. When the leather becomes wet through rain or sweat, the color may transfer to your clothes or bag, so please be aware when in use. In case it gets wet, please use a dry and soft cloth to absorb the water soaked inside and dry it in a shade. Please avoid using water, benzene, and thinner for this leather. When preserving it, please be aware of any moisture, dirt, and sweat that is on the leather, and store it in a dry place. Please prevent this from sticking to other leather items and vinyl products.
The tightness of the rubber band can be adjusted by changing the position in which the knot is being made. Please adjust to your favorite length.
